The reason coal has been made out to be so bad is the european union plan to destroy the industry in great britain and make it dependant on other countries for manufacturing. The plan of the eu is to weaken the economies in all member nations to push for total centralisation. In america Obama is using the excuse that coal is dirty to shut down privately run coal power stations and give general electric the monopoly. The emissions that come off coal get filtered through water before leaving the power station. The majority of what comes out is steam. Look at what has happened with Japan. The nuclear power industry just cannot cope with errors. There are so many lies and cover ups also all the nuclear waste. yes it is fair. and wise to do so. it is fair to compare other energy sources too, even firewood. they all have their advantages and disadvantages.
