Is scion tc a good car compare to other cars under $20000?

Scion tc seems to be pretty good. if compare to mazda 3, which is better? (in performace and mpg)|||i had a scion tc and it was a great car. the mpg was about 22city/27highway however thats if you drive it calm. if you start off the line going fast you will burn through your gas. the tc has a lot of room and looks really nice. its made with good quality material and is mainly toyota parts which toyota is a very good brand. however the insurance is a lot because its a 2 door coupe which was made for teens. The TC " Touring Coupe" was only made for what it was named. Its not really a good car to perform with to the max . However im not saying in a race it couldnt beat the mazda 3 because i can proudly say i did beat the mazda 3 but didnt smoke him. The Mazda 3 is nice and well built too. Its has lots of room and of course 4 doors saving you money on insurance. This car does not really have a better engine than the tc and doesnt perform better. The two cars are very a like but with the scion tc being a little bit better. If you are looking for a car that can perform it would be the Nissan 300zx. If your looking for saving gas then it would be a Toyota prius. But if you want both of those then get either the mazda 3 or scion tc because when it comes down to it they are the exact same. My opinon get the tc!!!|||i personally would go with the 04 or 06 gto

|||that is a good question, I test drove both of them and settled on the Scion. It was a tough decision and it came down to the dealers, and I really pitted them against each other, and Scion came out the winner. The TC has a slightly more powerful engine, and at least where I live is still pretty unique on the road whereas the Mazda 3 is everywhere. Looking back the only real upside for the Mazda is that it is 4 door, I sort of miss that rear storage space access, and I like the sport shifter that I could have added to my TC.


For mileage it all comes down to how you drive the cars and if you break them in, I'm assuming that you'd look at the larger engine in the Mazda, in which case the Mazda will come out slightly ahead. the Mazda is also slightly cheaper for insurance.|||Yes.





In performance, this car is pretty much the same as the Mazda 3.





0-60 in 7.4 seconds for both cars with manual transmission and both around 160HP if you are talking about the Mazda 3 with the 2.3L engine.





The Mazda handles better and gets better MPG and cheaper insurance because it has 4 doors. The Mazda 3 is the best handling FWD sedan.





Both are reliable. I would say the Mazda 3 is better and much more fun.|||Well I drive a Mazda 3 and that car has 2.0 litter engine that gets me about 36 mpg and its small compact car that is very roomy inside for you and for the passengers, but if you really want to compare cars you should go to the dealers and compare on how each car drives and compare the prices. But a word of advise take a friend along that why he/she can tell you how comfortable the car is when you test drive it.|||scion tc is a good car

its basically a camry but hotter|||I presonnaly prefer the TC.
