Why are cars that are manufactured in USA (Including Toyota) are unreliable compare to the one made in Asia ?

I've seen many owner reviews from USA that they often have reliability problem with the car,funny thing is,in Asia,we rarely have problems with our car.Even in a country that has 4 seasons,the cars are reliable.|||we have the know how to make them just as good but our goverment will not let us.if the cars made in the usa would last as long it would hurt our auto manufactera|||Why didn't you complete list of your so called Asian cars? We need the facts! Any car is reliable if you don't drive it! Adhering to a rigid maintenance schedule will make any car reliable.





We have a six year old Toyota that's been in the shop once under warranty for an anti-knock sensor.





I'm not thrilled with the cost of OEM parts for any foreign owned company car. There's a lack of aftermarket less expensive parts for off-shore cars also.|||You are of course spreading propaganda. If the cars compared are of the same market segment and model classification, the Asians and Japs are nOT overall superior. Consumers Digest is a bit prejudiced and often tilted a bit. However the JD Powers report is considered the industry standard for tracking and accurately accessing owner complaints and follow up quality issues,. They do not show the Asians to be more reliable, in fact this publication shows exactly the opposite. You are either mistaken or intentionally malicious. Probably because you are short and going bald.|||I don't have any problems with my American made Toyotas, or my Honda.





OH, I forgot. The battery died after "ONLY" ten years in my wife's Camry.





My '02 Tundra is still going strong, close to ten years NO PROBLEM AT ALL.|||They are not. Your little jap cars have no horse power and even less torque. I have a 95 jeep V8 with 315,000 miles on it and is still going, just routine maitnence and an oil pump. And i can go muddin. Which i can't seem to do in a civic|||Partly because the workers here just wanna draw a check and go home. Over there the workers are GLAD to have that job and do it well, taking pride in the work. Some Americans have lost that.|||Ive seen is hearsay information...truth is american quality is as good/better...you can look it up..try J D Powers ,,yahoo search/google,,|||cuz american cars are american-made. they never do anything right
