How do the potential energies of these 2 cars compare? (The problem is below.)?

2 cars are lifted to the same elevation in a service station. If 1 car is twice as heavy as the other, how do their potential energies compare?|||Potential energy = mgh

g is a constant and h is equal for both cars.

If the mass of car 1 is twice as much as the mass of car 2, the potential energy for car 1 will be twice as much as the potential energy for car 2.|||potential energy of car =mass*acceleration due to gravity*height

acceleration due to gravity and height are same for both cars

so they PE are measures of their masses

PE1:PE2=m1:m2

=2:1
